I spent 20 minutes getting this scene right: the way the clouds were, waves of light and shadow seemed to be rushing from me across the mudflats towards the castle, but not actually illuminating the left face as often as I’d liked.

A vertical panorama stitched together in Hugin to give a square crop. 7500*7500px is a rather better image than I could have got from scanning even Hasselblad film photos of old…
